You are asked to write a legal memorandum providing your opinion on the legal issues arising frotn a fact sccnario given to you. In forming your opinions, it will be necessary for you to research and apply applicable case and statute law. It is reeomtnended that you use the database, LawSource, to complete your legal research. An overview on how to use LawSource will be provided. You are welcome to use other resources such as legal texts and websites (www.CanLii.org is an excellent resource). The body of your memo should be approximately 2000 words (excluding footnotes and appendices). If it is a little over or under, not to worry, but keep this length in mind.
