Mulan always had a creative side. As a child, she was very good at art and as a grown up, her talent developed. She decided to make money off her artistic talent. One day, while she was in a hardware store, Mulan realised that all of the LED lightbulbs were ordinary looking and had no artistic flair. She went home, put her pencil to paper and designed a beautiful spiral shaped LED bulb. Her friends, Aurora and Tianna who are both interior designers loved the bulb and told her she should market it. On March 22, 2010, Mulan succeeded in registering her intellectual property right and began to make money from it. She has been very successful. In fact, she has been so successful that on April 16, 2021 Mulan became aware that Princess Enterprises Limited was marketing a LED bulb incorporating her spiral design without her permission.
