The company provides benefits as per the employment act, and annual leave could be carried forward if management rejected leave applications. He was not allowed to take any leave in 2006 as he had not earned any yet. For 2007, he took 8 days' annual leave and for 2008 he took another 8 days. For the whole of 2009, he took 10 days of annual leave although he wanted to take 2 more days his leave application was rejected by his senior due to work requirements. He was told he would be allowed to carry forward the 2 days leave. From 1 January 2010 to 30 June 2010, Musa Ahmad had taken 10 days of annual leave.

1.If he resigns from the company effective 1 July 2010, what is the number of annual leave days he is entitled to be paid? Explain.(5marks)

2.If his salary was RM1,450 per month at the time of his resignation, how much would he be paid for the balance of annual leave (assuming he works 25 days per month)? Explain(5 marks)
