My elevator pitch to the hospital CEO will be over a catheterization laboratory. The problem is that our facility does not have a catheterization lab and the closet one is over 100 miles away. The solution would be to create one within the hospital footprint. The target market would be the aging population in our area in need of these services at a reasonable price comparative to the hospital that is over 100 miles away from our location that gouges their customers. With that being said, they will not be our completion if we were to open this section up within our hospital foot print. The highly specialized team would include radiology and cardiovascular technologists, several registered nurses, and a couple interventional cardiologists (Vesota, N., 2022, June 17). A typical catheterization lab will do cardiac, vascular, angiography, and neurology procedures. The financial summary will consist of location set up, whether that be in the hospital or in a separate building with our footprint, recruiting and hiring events, equipment purchasing/ leasing, and miscellaneous supplies with an initial cost of about $750,000 with a projected minimum revenue of 12% annually in return.
