My name is Gerald Mercado, I am 27 years old and was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Currently my home of record is still there but on active duty orders overseas as of now. I started my military career in the United States Marine Corps in 2015 with 4 years of service as a supply clerk in Camp Lejeune, then I left to take a break doing different jobs in the civilian sector and joined the Navy Reserves in 2021. I am a Logistics Specialist now where I plan to hopefully retire in the future. I'm continuing my degree journey with this course to eventually finish my degree program in Supply Chain Management.
