My name is Richard Taylor but go by my middle name, Jamison. I live in Maryland and have been a Chef for the past 26 years around the country and I also spent a little bit of time in Europe cooking in France before heading back to the states. I am pursuing a degree in Sustainability, and this will be my twelfth class at APU after getting an associate degree years ago from NVCC in Virginia. I am a solo dad and in my spare time I like to do things with my daughter who turned 11 in November and is growing up way too fast with many extracurricular activities that keep us busy throughout the year. I also like to golf but never do it enough, see shows, visit different restaurants, and hang with friends. After completing my bachelor's degree I am hoping to take the knowledge that I have incurred with being in hospitality for years and the newfound sustainability education and either find a job with a company that I can help to develop sustainable programs for their cafes and kitchens along with any buildings that may need implementing plans for sustainability or start my own business
