My organization's culture is quite unique due to the nature of our work. Working as a historical interpreter at a museum results in some unique artifacts and cultural beliefs. Generally speaking, employees are engaged and excited about the work they do. We also all value each other as part of a larger team. We also have departmental meeting every two months in order to come together as a whole and discuss any questions or problems employees may have. These meeting are treated as an open forum where everyone's ideas have value. The tone of any communication between employees is positive and constructive. Supervisors and directors within my organization are also easy to reach through many different avenues of communication. We also value incorporating the historical perspectives of diverse groups of people. This is evident in the many opportunities there are for further education both on and off museum property. Overall I do think my organization's values are very strongly aligned with my own. This has impacted my behavior in a positive way. I find that I am excited to be around my coworkers and I feel like the work I am doing is valuable. This also leads to increased performance
