My organization's push-pull boundary is our on site warehouse locations. We mostly use a "push" inventory method with the spare parts stored in our warehouse to estimate future demand. It is generally more important for us to prevent a stock-out situations causing production downtime than it is to prevent having overstocked inventory levels
