My peer's post: Key Points Transformational leadership. I never took this style of leadership seriously before but after reading more on it I feel it can be useful in the right circumstances. Money is not the most important motivating factor for some in the workplace. Everyone always comes to work for money so I figured that was the most important aspect. Maslow's need theory. I always looked at work as something that was just that. I never made the connection between personal needs and work. I would never bring personal problems into work with me and was always able to separate the two lives but never though about the fact that not everyone can do this. Useful Strategies Rewarding employees throughout a project instead of once at the end will result in a positive motivational factor. Some people like having a simple pizza party at work for a reward. I always though that employees would rather have a little bump in pay for their work but it is not always the size of the reward, but how the reward is perceived by the one receiving it.
