Overview: East West Bank is seeking a FX Junior Trader. The primary responsibility of the Foreign Exchange (FX) Trader is making prices and executing trades in foreign exchange market, on behalf of or for the benefit of East West bank. The daily activities include managing client flows, writing market researches and analysis, structuring and recommending hedging strategy, calculating/verifying product valuation and pricing, and managing interbank relationships. The FX Trader manages bank's FX positions of and delivers recommendations/solutions to FX Advisors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage bank-wide foreign currency positions via tools such as e-trading platforms, Bloomberg, and telephone, based on market dynamic and clients' requests.
• Provide market updates and write-ups to bank-wide employees and also clients.
• Advises sales on forecast of foreign exchange rates based on capital market scenario analysis.
• Reviews trade outstanding orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Responds to sales' inquires on FX and maintains EWB's foreign exchange accounts.
• Manages FX cash flow and Nostro account balances.
• Carry out trades and maintain EWB's accounts.
• Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field, such as finance, economics, and business degrees.
• 1+ years of FX related experience in banking preferred.
• Excellent research and presentation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication with effective interpersonal and relationship management skills to engage individuals at all levels in the organization.

8. My first reason is that being a foreign exchange trader is also about an international business that tends to know the international market of currencies as a base of trading. I'm also interested in how foreign exchange traders oversee a company's foreign currency transactions on international commodity markets. Maintaining an organization's foreign currency market position, carrying out foreign exchange trades, establishing and communicating exchange rates based on market fluctuations, researching market changes, and advising international clients on market trends and fluctuations are among their responsibilities.

9. Hard and soft skills can be developed by forex traders to help them reduce risk and increase success. I am skilled in market analysis, and many forex traders use price charts to graph the most recent exchange rates. The other is having technical skills, which can be advantageous because they can make it simpler to use trading platforms and programs when trading online. By using spreadsheets and other programs to organize their trades, forex traders can also gain from this capability.

10. Market analysis is a tactical strategic tool that employs an analytical approach to answering some of your company's most challenging questions. Having this skill may assist me in better understanding the international market before developing a strategy. Another skill that I believe would be beneficial to the company is technical knowledge. The reason for this is that we live in a modern world where we use technology to make processes more accurate and faster. It will enable me to be more productive and save time when completing assigned tasks.
