N1

It's difficult to come up with new ways of looking at a situation - or to envision an entirely new situation. This warm-up exercise will help you to move past a temporary "log jam" in your creative thinking. INSTRUCTIONS: Think about a fairly major decision you recently made or are currently considering, either in your professional or personal life. Working in this private journal, suspend early judgment, and without much thought, begin writing down the many ways you can tackle this issue - or ways that you can envision the situation. Do not stop until you have 20 different ideas. Note that not all of your ideas may be the "best ideas" - some may not even be reasonably good ideas; that is not the point of the exercise. The goal is simply to get you past your most temporary "log jam" in creative thinking and get you moving towards action and a solution.
