Nala wanted to sell her new sportscar for $80,000.

Brenda heard that Nala was looking for potential buyers and Brenda decided to email Nala a written offer to purchase the sportscar for $70,000 including the leather seats.

Nala received the Brenda's email and after reading it, Nala decided to make some changes to Brenda's offer- notably accepting the $70,000 price NOT including the leather seats - and emailed Brenda that she, Nala was accepting Brenda's offer as amended.

Brenda's computer was being repaired for a couple of days and Brenda didn't check her emails for that period of time. When Brenda finally received Nala's email, she notified Nala that Brenda was dropping out of the transaction and was no longer interested in buying the sportscar.

Nala sued Brenda for breach of contract.
