You are documenting part of the payroll process for Finding Nemo Company. It is company with many departments.

The process to document is as follows:

On Mondays, each departmental supervisor computes the total hours for each employee. He then lists these hours on a summary timesheet, and he/she forwards it to data processing.

A couple of days before payday, Data processing records the timesheet data using the employees numbers and hours into the system. With this information, the computer calculates the normal hours and overtime hours. It then reads the employees withholding and pay rate from the employees file database and computes the gross pay, net pay, and deductions for each worker. As it calculates, the computer stores the information in a temporary payroll file (TPF). Then, the computer prints a paycheck and payroll stub for each employee on the printer in the payroll department.

At the end of the day (pay day), the computer reads the TPF and prints a summary of the payroll data on the printer in the payroll department. The payroll manager reconciles the summary with the paychecks and stamps each paycheck with the needed signature stamp. The payroll manager then delivers each paycheck to the appropriate employee.
