Natalia and Natasha are twin sisters, born on 1st January 2008. Natalia is a cellist with a prodigious talent. Her ambition is to one day be employed by the prestigious London Filharmonik Orkestra ("the LFO"). Natasha is not too interested in music and wishes to pursue a career in law. Their parents tragically passed away in 2020, and the sisters now have to fend for themselves. In December 2022 Natalia managed to obtain a place at the Build hall School of Music ("BSM") to further hone her skills and talent as a cellist. She signed a 2-year contract with BSM. The relevant terms of the contract are: 1. BSM exempts Natalia from any payment of tuition fees. 2. BSM will arrange for Natalia to participate in symphony orchestra concerts from time to time. Natalia must pay 60% of any fees she receives from such concerts to BSM. 3. Natalia is not allowed without BSM's permission to participate in any symphony orchestra concerts that is not arranged by BSM for as long as this contract is in force. Last month a representative of the LFO attended one of the concerts at which Natalia was performing and was very impressed by her performance. LFO has now offered Natalia a 2- year apprenticeship contract commencing 1st January 2024. Natalia asked BSM if they would release her from her contract with them. BSM refused and have threatened to sue Natalia if she were to break her contract with them. Meanwhile, Natasha performed outstandingly well in her 'A' Level examination and on 1st October 2022 enrolled with the Oxbridge University to pursue their Bachelor of Laws degree. She decided to start an online business selling mobile phones to finance her studies. She borrowed money from Shylock, a local licensed moneylender, who despite his name in fact lent money on very reasonable interest rates. She used the money to set up her business and to pay her first-year tuition fees to Oxbridge University. With the balance of the loan money, she purchased a small stock of mobile phones from Mobi Phones. She managed to sell the whole stock by the end of February 2023 and turn in a small profit for herself. Encouraged by this, Natasha then successfully negotiated a contract to buy a further stock of mobile phones from Mobi Phones on credit terms which required Natasha to make full payment of £20,000 for the stock by 1st June 2023. Again, Natasha managed to sell the entire stock, but because of poor financial planning on her part she was unable to make payment to Mobi Phones on 1st June 2023. At the same time, Mobi Phones discovered that Natasha is only 17 and they therefore refused to carry on further business with Natasha. She is also in arrears with her monthly repayment of the loan that she took from Shylock. Both Shylock and Mobi Phones are threatening to sue Natasha to recover the money that is owed to them.

Advise Natalia and Natasha based on the English position, what grounds, if any, may they rely on to resist any action that may be brought against them by BSM (against Natalia), Shylock and Mobi Phones (against Natasha).
