Navigate to the link that has the Iowa Code (unofficial version).

Or feel free to find the Iowa Code online using whatever other search terms work for you.

Once you find the Code, you'll likely see it's divided into 16 Titles. Look at Title 13, Commerce. And from there, you'll see that chapter 554 is the Iowa version of the UCC. I want you to see that the UCC is actually a statute, or a law, and in every state has its own section or chapter in the state code of statutes. You generally will have to navigate to the section of a state code that deals with Commerce, or Commercial Transactions, to find a state's UCC.

Now browse through Chapter 554 and notice the various Articles of the Iowa UCC. Find Article 2. Take a look at the various Parts of Article 2, and you'll see terms we've studied, like Contracts, Performance, and Remedies.

Now prove to the rest of the class that you've actually found this section of the Iowa code, and that you see how it's organized. Everyone cite some Chapter number and heading, and explain a bit about what you found.

For example: Chapter 554.2301 General obligation of parties. This section simply says that the obligation of the seller is to transfer and deliver, and that the buyer has an obligation to accept and pay in accordance with the contract.

When we're done, we should have an interesting cross section of Iowa's Article 2 provisions.
