Changing capacitor in the circuit changed the circuits range of control. Range of control is defined as the range of adjustment over which the area under the SCR is voltage curve can be adjusted (changed) by the operator. The operator is not able to control the area under the curve from the point where the SCR is fully off to the point where the SCR suddenly turns on (snaps on). What affect do the size of the capacitor have on the range of control of the SCR conduction angle?
