Need answer for this Case:
Sue and Bill worked for Perfect Lawns, a lawn care company owned by Margaret Flower. On the morning of May 6th, 2019, Sue and Bill were asked to take care of the lawn of a new customer, John Deere.Mr. Deere was a very special customer: His lawn had to be perfect as he was holding his only daughter's wedding there in a few weeks. His property sat on 5 acres of lawn and it was magnificent.
As they were applying fertilizer to Mr. Deere's lawn, Bill and Sue mistakenly applied a strong weed killer, which caused the lawn to turn brown and die. The workers had failed to follow their employer's directive to always double check before they applied anything to lawns.Ms. Flower apologized profusely to Mr. Deere for her employees' mistake, but refused to compensate him for the damage claiming that it was not her fault, it was theirs.
Mr. Deere had to scramble to get ready for his daughter's wedding, meaning that he had to have his entire property sodded with new grass to the cost of $10,000. Still furious, Mr. Deere filed a claim against Ms. Flower to recover the cost.
