Tina refused to sell at this price. Later, Samu agreed to the original price. Explain whether Tina is obliged to sell her house to Samu. Question 2 Tim advertises in the local paper that he has lost his wallet and offers a reward of $500. Tom who has not read the advertisement find the wallet and returns it to Tim. He later finds out that there is a reward for the return of the wallet, and asks Tim for the reward claiming that he had showed acceptance by returning the wallet. Tim refused to pay the reward and so Tom sued Tim for breach of contract. Explain with reference to the Acceptance element whether Tim is obliged to pay the reward. Would it be different if Tom knew of the reward before he found Tim's wallet? Question 3 Clearup placed an advertisement in a magazine: Clearup is guaranteed to work on problem skin. Use it according to the instructions for 3 months and experience a clear skin. If this does not happen we'll refund your money and pay you $50. Martin read the advertisement, purchased a three-month supply being 3 tubes at $10.00 each and used it according to the instructions. At the end of the period, his skin was worse.
