1. Ethically, what should you do if you are a newly sworn officer and were told by your fellow officers that you do not need to pay for your lunch at the restaurant where you all had lunch?

2. You and your partner are dispatched to look for an adolescent for robbery. Your partner sees a kid running, yells "Police! Stop!" and shoots the kid in the back. Your partner later tells you to say that the juvenile appeared to be carrying a weapon, which is not true. Later that day, Internal Affairs asks you to tell them what happened. Ethically, what should you do and why?

3. You see a juvenile offender on the street who has been in and out of court for six property crimes. You partner suggests you file a false report on him so he can pay for his actions. Ethically, what should you do?

4. You are studying for the promotional test to become a sergeant. You do not have a lot of time throughout the day to study. A friend of yours, a sergeant, says that he has a sample copy of the exam. You know that sample copies are forbidden. Ethically, what should you do?

5. You are a newly promoted lieutenant in the Narcotics Division of the bureau. While standing at the water fountain, you overhear two of your colleagues, Sergeants Jay Anderson and Dan Foster, discussing last night's $7,500 drug bust. According to the property report, $5,000 was seized. What happened to the $2,500? Ethically, what should you do?

6. You are running in the park, sitting next to a tree, and spot a wallet near you. You pick it up out of curiosity and find credit cards, an ID, and $300 in cash and there is nobody else around you. Ethically, what should you do? What if you found $3,000, $30,000, or more?
