There are several ways to implement a successful merger and acquisition. They must have integration teams that can build the necessary bridges to build the relationship between both

companies. A sense of urgency must be always present as well. There should be a buy-in option.

Communication is key, unable to effectively communicate with members can cause issues and

the employees may choose to leave the company before the completion of the acquisition.

Employees are the key; they are the ones who make everything run to assist in the overall

production of the organization and ensure that they continue to move in a forward projection.

Having retention of the employees can make the merger and acquisition smoother. The culture is important to have results, the results are what the end goals are. To provide what they are doing

for the betterment of their customers. "Going hand-in-hand with the key integration levers are

the three components to a successful integration: integration processes, integration tools, and

integration measurement (Knilans, 2009)."

"Today's life science organizations face unprecedented speed and scale of change (Elizabeth, 2021)." Having a post-acquisition integration planned out can help deal with any hassles that may arise. Planning on what could potentially go wrong and having countermeasures to assist the company in working through them is crucial. It will not reduce all risks and challenges; however, it may greatly reduce the damage being done by said risk. Nothing is 100 percent guaranteed to work. Even vaccines, are there to prevent disease; however, should you still get that disease it may alleviate the symptoms of that risk and possibly even reduce the risk of death.
