Kotter's change management model was developed and created by John Kotter. The Kotter

change model consist of 8 steps. It is a framework to effectively and successfully implement organizational change (Athuraliya, 2021). The 8 steps in Kotter's change model are:

Lewin's change management model is a three step process, known as unfreeze, change, and

refreeze. The unfreeze stage prepares the organization to understand and accept the urgent

need for change and ensure readiness for change. The change or transition stage is often the most

difficult for people. Here the move towards the change sets in, and people are uncertain about the

future; they are new to the changes and need time to grasp and adjust to the changes. Finally, the

refreeze stage is when the desired changes are reinforced, ensuring that they are widely accepted, used

all the time, and embedded into the fabric of the business and the organizational culture (Bridges, 2020).

on the complete process of change, strong emphasis on the involvement and acceptability of the

employees for the success of the change process as well as the preparing, and building

acceptability for change and not the actual change process. Finally, the benefits of the Lewin

change management model are that it is easy to understand, makes sense, and analyzes

behavioral elements through psychology (Admin, 2021).
