Melissa Aldredge is another employee with the company who was also considered for the senior project manager position. She made Electropic LLC aware of June's lack of education.Although the required education has not been completed, June remains an asset to Electropic LLC. In order for the Human Resource Department to determine how to proceed with this situation, they need to find out how this can be resolved ethically and within the guidelines of the law.

Professor Joseph Badaracco presents the theory of "right versus right". This is the notion that an ethical dilemma could result in multiple "right" responses (University of Maryland University College, 2019a). Management and the Human Resource Department need to look beyond the set ethical decision-making rules they rely on and consider that more than two options can be the right choice. June Pyle committed (resume) fraud, or misrepresentation. This is broad legal concept, which incorporates a variety of fraud and misrepresentation, both civil and criminal (University of Maryland University College, 2019b).

There is a way that Electropic LLC can make this situation work for both the betterment of the group and for June Pyle. If June is permitted to stay under the condition that she officially obtain her degree, she would still be able to positively contribute to the success of Electropic LLC. The company would benefit from her expertise in the field and the additional revenue and positive attention she is able to generate. Electropic does not owe Melissa Aldredge an explanation if they decide to keep June on as the senior project manager. If Electropic is operating in an at will state, June is an at will employee.Employment at will is a doctrine of common law that allows either the employee or the employer to terminate an employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, and even for a morally reprehensible reason, so long as the ending of the relationship does not fall into an exception to the employment-at-will doctrine (University of Maryland University College, 2019c). This acts as a way of reflecting back on the decision that was made if it were reviewed in obituary. How would the best friends of the decision makers at Electropic LLC. feel if they were to read about their choice in an obituary? They would be able to be proud of their decision allowing June to stay. An obituary could be written fondly of how the people in charge of making decision for Electropic LLC did things to benefit their employees and not only to bottom line for the company.

In conclusion, the "right versus right' theory is an important concept to consider in many cases. Employees and employers may be faced with the difficult decision to on how to proceed with an option that should be ethically and legally just. By considering all consequences, rights (individual and group), character and is the solution practical, all the bases of the decision making process are able to be carefully covered. The three test Professor Badaracco provide a way that will allow whatever decision is made to reflect positively on the company.
