Open hole 171/2
Bottom hole temperature is 260\deg F
Surface casing is 2054.5 ppf K55 STC set at 1500 feet
Casing is 13-3/8775 ppf P110 LTC set to 7100 feet run as follows:
13-3/8 float shoe
2 jts (60 shoe track) of 9-5/853.5 ppf P-110 LTC casing
13-3/8 float collar
7100 of 133/853.5 ppf P-110 LTC casing back to surface
Lead cement (all of this cement is in the annulus)
Class G+8% bentonite
Density : 13.3 ppg
Yield : 1.83 ft3/sk
Mixwater Requirements : 1.307 ft3/sk
TOLC outside 133/8" casing: 3950' above shoe
Tail cement -(note: part of the tail cement is in the 13-3/8 casing and some of it is in the annulus.)
Class G cement with the following additives:
0.2% D13R (retarder)
1% D65(friction reducer)
Slurry density =15.9 ppg
Yield =1.14 ft3/sk
Mixwater requirements =4.96 gal per sk
TOTC outside 133/8" casing: 1800' above shoe
Precede cement with 17 bbls of 10.2 ppg brine as a spacer.
Use 20% excess for determination of cement volumes.

Casing
133/8"77 lb/ft : 0.1463 bbls/ft =0.8215 ft3/ft
Annular Spaces
171/2" hole x 133/8" Casing: 0.1237 bbls/ft =0.6946 ft3/ft
20" Casing x 133/8" Casing: 0.1816 bbls/ft =1.0194 ft3/ft
To be determined:
1. The volume of cement
2. The required number of sacks of cement
3. The volume of mixwater required
4. The volume of displacement
5. Top of the spacer
6. Hydrostatic pressure generated during the cementing operations at the bottomhole
7. How long does it take to pump all the cement (only) at 6 bpm?(mins)
