Overview Assignment #2 gives you an opportunity to apply what you are learning about data modeling in a number of different ways. You are to develop a data model based, to an extent, on the https://www.iverr.com/z website. Fiverr is a global online marketplace offering tasks and services, beginning at a cost of $5 per job performed, from which it gets its name. The site is primarily used by freelancers who use Fiverr to offer services to customers worldwide (Description from Wikipedia) You may work on this assignment either individually, or in pairs. I won't permit groups of 3 or more. By default, everyone is in a group of 1 (l know a group needs to, but it is still a group in Canvas). To make groups of 2, you can assign yourselves after agreeing to team up. Teams have to declared by Thursday 2/8 Tasks Task 1. Create an E-R Diagram (80%) Read through the problem description in Appendix A and examine the screenshots in the accompanying Screenshots.pdf file. Based on this information, you should create a data model that corresponds to the conceptual data model in the ANSI/SPARC framework using entity-relationship diagramming. The data model should be able to accommodate all of the data found in the description and may include other information found in the screen shots You should do your best to conform to the standards and guidelines we discuss in class. If you have questions about the requirements for the data model, you may post them in the Canvas discussion board Assignment 2 Requirements" created for this purpose. Answers will be posted there for all to see I encourage (but do not require) you to use a data modeling tool to develop your Entity-Relationship Diagram. It supports the Information Engineering (crow's foot) notation as well as two other less common notations, but not IDEF1X. It is very nicely integrated with Oracle.
