Problem 12: DC Motor Response to PWM A model for a DC motor with a load TL where angular velocity is the desired output, is i = ( * )-+( ! )*n+(-3) TL y (01), where zi is the armature current of the motor, and X2 is the angular velocity of the motor. Suppose the parameters for the DC motor are given in Table 4. Note that this model with the same parameters Table 4: DC Motor Parameters. J ke 0.01 kg ma 0.01 b kt 0.1Nms 0.01 Nm V rad R 112 L 0.5 H were used in Problem 11. In each of the following parts, you will obtain a simulation of the response of the DC motor using the (Adams-Bashforth-2)- (Adams-Moulton-3) predictor-corrector pair. We are interested in the angular velocity with a load of TL = 0.02 N m Your goal is to evaluate using a pulse-width-modulated signal to drive the DC motor, comparing the responses to the PWM signal to the equivalent step inputs. It is of particular interest to know when the two methods of driving the DC motor have remarkably different results. You may have to adjust the method by which a PWM signal is generated to account for a T that gives a stable simulation. Following the description in Problem 08, if T = 100xMxf, then the condition to check is if(modk, 100 * M)
