Describe a contract you entered into during this term. Hint - all of you have entered into a contract this term! Do not include financial or private details. The purpose of this question is to think about how often we enter into contracts without really appreciating that we are doing just that. 2. What options are open to you when presented with a standard form contract from a service provider to sign - ie. car rental agency, cell phone provider, bank, etc.? 3. Describe a circumstance wherein you would want a "subject to clause" put into a contract and why. 4. If you owned a commercial parking lot, how would you use an exemption clause to protect your legal interests and how would you bring that clause to the attention of people using your lot? 5. Focusing on the law of consideration, if you were providing a service to someone under contract but you were losing money on the deal, how would you go about changing the terms of the contract in such a way that it would be enforceable ?
