That's the one thing Transcom has as a disadvantage. Since the company has not adopted well to the pandemic situation, some were forced to resign and go home or move to a different company. Work-from- home arrangements were done at the later part of the pandemic. And after the strict restrictions were lifted, the employees were asked to go back to the office and were told to have a SWAB test every two weeks. While most of them still stayed, some left because they cannot work on a work arrangement like that. V. Strategic Alternative The alternative strategies that the company can consider in minimizing the threats of covid-19 are as follows; 1. The company should consider vaccinating all the employees that work for the company and providing them with vaccine cards that will show that they have been vaccinated. Advantages The advantage that will be attained from this strategy is that it will remove the inconvenience of the no work no pay policy that the company has put in place. The employees will not have to work from home since they are already vaccinated. This will also ensure that there are enough employees to assist the customers in the physical offices associated with the company. Disadvantages The disadvantage of this strategy is that some of the employees might resist to be vaccinated which may affect implementation of the strategy. additionally, according to research conducted the covid-19 vaccine are not effective enough and employees have to follow other regulations and measures to gap spread of the disease. 2. The company should consider opening up more offices for the company employees to work from. Advantages The advantage of this strategy is that it will increase the efficiency of the company in offering services to the clients during the pandemic. the company will also adhere to the social distancing regulations from the government put in place to gap the spread of covid-19.
