1. Draw a probability distribution for the number of arrivals in an hour (say from 0 to 10). Use Excel's Poisson.dist function. This should look like the diagram at the bottom of slide #10 in the Analytics of Waiting Lines Ppt file.
2. What is the probability that at least 2 cars will arrive in a one-hour time period?
3. Draw a probability density function for the inter-arrival time. Use Excel's Expon.dist function.
4. A car has just arrived at the garage. What is the probability that the next car will not arrive in at least the next 30 minutes?
5. A car has just arrived at the garag What is the probability that the next car will arrive in between 10 and 15 minutes?
