Upon joining UCLA, I began as a contract employee in the Administrative Float Pool, which meant I took on various assignments until a match was found to hire me as a permanent, career employee. As I navigate my career at UCLA Health, I am eager to hone my skills and translate key concepts into practice. Currently, I am enrolled in an online MBA course for Healthcare Management, but I recognize the unique value of the specialized training through the SEP program. The SEP is the best program to support my career goals, because it offers employees the opportunity to foster skill development amongst a supportive peer network. As a young professional in my early career, I hope to develop skills that will make me successful leader in this organization. I specifically want to be involved in program management within UCLA for clinical operations and public health.
