Salman Kan demanded the bank to refund him RM 720, the excess amount the bank had debited from his account. However, the bank refused to do so. The bank now seeks your advice as to whether they are protected under the Bills of Exchange Act 1949. Advise the bank. 2. Mrs Wong maintains a current account with Bank Besar Bhd. Unknown to Mrs Wong, her husband, Mr Wong forged Mrs Wong's signature on a cash cheque amounting to RM 10,000.
