Budgeted Alpha are 3,000 units and of Beta 4,000 units, provided that the company maintains goods inventories at a level equal to three month's sales. In discussions with trade union however, it has been agreed that the hourly rate should be raised by 50 cents per hou that the times to produce Alpha and Beta are reduced by 20%.
