Newd help figuring this question out I chose tracheostomy w/o CC, with CC and with MCC. For the w/o CC the DRG was 2.405. Using the 4964 amount the hospital would be reimbursed for $4844. Trach with CC would have a DRG of 3.521 and using the $4964, the hospital would be reimbursed an amount of $4789. A trach with MCC would have a DRG of 4.918 and using the amount of $4964, the hospital would be reimbursed an amount of $4720. Hopefully I did this correctly.
