You've been working in public relations and have recently received a well-deserved promotion! As the new Director you have taken responsibility over one of the company's oldest clients just as they have a PR emergency. The CEO of the large financial company was found out to have been embezzling millions of dollars, and he had just escaped with the money. The Board of Directors is trying to reassure shareholders that they are investigating and will be taking swift action to correctly manage the company. You need to communicate with current shareholders and the public and let them know that the company is investigating and can still be trusted. Consider the message you would send out through a public relations and advertising medium. Note: You are not creating the message in this exercise.
