This article gives a methodical step-by-step strategy to doing a case study in the business discipline, with a focus on research students. While working on their final dissertation, research students in this area encounter challenges in terms of clarity, selection, and operationalization of qualitative case studies. These challenges frequently result in ambiguity, the waste of valuable time, and poor decisions that have an impact on the research's final results.
