NonExperimental Designs

Psychologists often use nonexperimental designs to learn about behavior. In this discussion, assess the strengths and limitations of this approach to research. You will review one research article from a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that involves a nonexperimental design. Be sure to address the following in your main post:

• Describe nonexperimental designs.
• Of the different types of nonexperimental designs, which do you think would provide the most thorough findings about human behavior, and why?
• Choose a different research article in psychology from a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that involves a nonexperimental design. Identify the specific nonexperimental design(s) the author used (i.e. observation, ethnography, case study, etc....). Summarize the article with an emphasis on the methods used (including the participants, procedures, and measures).
