Noora wants to a create a n effective leadership strategy for her business. She has a bakery (named `Have your Cake') which sells designer cakes in Qatar. Her customers include general public buying cakes for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and weddings. Her business also deals with companies (including businesses and institutions) who want to celebrate their successes such as launching new products, employee performance award events and other business/company achievements. Noora has an MSc in Marketing from Qatar University. Asa marketer, she is deeply involved in marketing strategy of her business. In particular, she heads customer relationship department and looks after the sales team. However, Noora has very little knowledge of baking, bakery technology and buying of raw materials for the business. `Have your Cake' has four types of employees: (i) Administrative Staff: these employees take orders on the phone, manage the business website, organize customer deliveries, order materials needed for making cakes and address customer queries and complaints. (ii) In-Shop Sales Staff these employees deal with customers visiting the bakery to buy or order cakes. (iii) Field Sales Team: employees who visit businesses and institutions for promoting the bakery and getting cake orders. (iv) Cake Makers: these employees specialize in cake making. They have diploma in baking technology. 

Noora wants your help in creating an effective leadership strategy for her business. In particular, she wants you to suggest: (a) Most appropriate leadership style that should be used in dealing with each of the four types of business employees. Leadership style for each employee type must be proposed in line with 'environmental forces' which may be impacting an employee performing a set of particular tasks. (b) What types ofpower (suggest at least two types) should Noora utilize to create commitment amongst her four types of employees. Give (at least) two reasons to justift your power selections.
