Northcliff currently cares for a total of 100 residents in private, en-suite rooms organized into two wings which each has two units. The new sections will increase the total number of rooms (and residents} to 150 by 2022. Each wing is led by a Manager and each unit has a full-time Coordinator. The resident care staff also includes Registered Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Recreation Therapists, and a Volunteer Services Coordinator. The new wing will he organized in the same manner. The new units will be housing residents with a higher care need than the current units and so will require additional Registered Nurse and Personal Support Worker positions as noted in the assumptions on the following pages. The Residence Services Department provides cleaning. maintenance and food senrices for the facility. Note the assumptions on the following page. The organization '5 :2th mm and stafng are shown in the elganjzation chart and Table 1 on the following page. 1. With regard to Executive Services, assume: a. There will be no increases or decreases in the number of positions b. Annual turnover as noted by position in Table 1 2. With regard to Resident Care. assume: a. In the current units, all positions will require the current raos of FTE positions to resident b. In the new units, the ratio of Manager, Unit Coordinator, Recreation Therapist, and Volunteer Services positions will remain the same as for the current units Each of the new units will require an additional 3 FTE Registemd Nurse positions Each of the new units will require a ratio of 2 FTE Personal Support Worker: 1 resident New positions begin January 1 of 2021 and January.r 1 of 2022 Annual turnover as noted by position in Table 1 3. With regard to Residence Services, assume: a. No increases to number of manager positions; increases to front line positions according to the current ratios as each new wing opens b. New positions begin January 1 of 2021 and January.r 1 of 2022 c. Annual turnover as noted by position in Table 1 4. With regard to Corporate Services, assume: a. During 2020, all Corporate Services positions will wind down as the work is taken over by the local hospital b. As of January 1, 2021, there will be no Corporate Services positions c.
