Not for Profits Organization
Charity organization ETI, consignment sale was held at a community center, although City of Toronto would normally charge $750 it allowed ETI to use the facility at no charge. Volunteers worked at the sale: 9 volunteers worked 6 hours, day prior to the sale and 10 worked from 9-2 pm on the day of the sale. ETI was lucky to have volunteers, otherwise it would have had to hire the people to do work, which would of costed $20 per hour. We would like to record the donated space and time as revenue. Is this okay? How much should be recorded?
