What is the purpose of the application?

I work at Black Rifle Coffee Company. They need a program that tracks their current sales and compares them to their old sales data. This would aid them in making inventory decisions.

What are your goals for the application (specific and measurable goals)?

My goal is to improve the efficiency of ordering inventory. The company should ideally be selling all the bags of coffee we order, without us having to throw any expired bags out, or running out of a specific blend of coffee a customer wants to buy.

Who is the target audience (users of the application be specific)?

Coffee company administration staff.

Who are the competitors for the application (not just apps, but retail, public sector, etc.)?

I suppose other small coffee companies. A single store coffee shop in Virginia tends to make anywhere from $200,000 to $400,000 average gross annual revenue.

What other risks could affect the success of the application?

My app is specialized toward a single client and simple. It doesnt require funding. It doesnt require an online presence outside of the stores network. Not much risk.

What is the timeline for application development?

On average inventory management apps take 400 to 600 hours to build. Like a team working for two months straight.

What is the most important benefit of the application (value to the audience)?

The ability to streamline their ordering decisions, eliminating waste and maximizing profit.
