Now it's time for some self-examination. You may be interested in one of the careers you found, but do you have any skills or abilities that would be helpful in it? Under your careers chart, make two columns labeled: Interests Skills Fill out each column with a list of information about yourself. For example, under interests, you could put "baking" or "working with kids." Under skills, you might put "organized" or "social." Be honest with yourself...don't list things that you think sound good. List what you actually are. And don't think that you have no skills. Everyone has things they are good at. By giving yourself an honest look, you will be able to identify qualities that might work with the careers that interest you.
