Now, that you have "analyzed" the green company you are in charge of, you will need to develop a Strategic Communication Plan to announce these new changes to your employees.
For example, how do you plan to make the announcement (this may depend upon how big your company is or how to reach your employees best), what do you say, how do you want your audience to react, will your audience find you and your message credible, and what other considerations must you address?
To answer those questions, you will develop a STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION PLAN (SCP). There are six sections to a SCP:
1. Format(s) of Message (this is what channel will you use to deliver the message).
2. Desired Outcome (this is being reflective and thinking about what you expect and how should your audience respond).
3. Credibility (this is your credibility as a speaker, but also the credibility of your message--why should they trust, believe, and want to listen to your message).
4. Audience (this is who your primary audience is and determining what you should include in your message based on what they know, how they feel, etc.).
5. Message (this is the message itself--what are the most important points to include, do you plan to have a direct message or indirect message, and what does your audience need to know to be able to respond).
6. Culture (this is considering your audience and their cultural makeup; do you need to honor or respect any cultural or demographic elements).
