A group of juveniles are throwing rocks in close proximity to a blind man. The blind man is unaware anyone is throwing rocks at him. Someone sees the juveniles throwing rocks in the area of the blind man and calls the police. The police arrive, what if any crime has been committed? Apply the features of a crime to explain your answer. As an FYI, to answer this question, you need to understand how to apply the "features of crime" and what would be the appropriate charge, if any.

For argument sake and so you do not have to do extensive research and read multiple laws, let's use the follow Georgia law (in summary) as an option:

O.C.G.A. 16-5-20Simple Assault.

A person commits the offense of simple assault when he or she either:

(1) Attempts to commit a violent injury to the person of another; or

(2) Commits an act which places another in reasonable apprehension of immediately receiving a violent injury.
