Ntombi (49) and Brad (53) have been married since 2001. The couple lived in Makhanda since they were born, and they both work for the Faculty of Commerce at Rhodes University. Ntombi and Brad have three children, Thando (9), Sipho (15) and Zodwa (19). In January 2018, Ntombi and Brad received a work exchange scholarship in Florida, USA, for two years. The couple left for Florida with their children on 1 February 2018. On 1 December 2018,Ntombi and Brad's daughter,Zodwa, married Theo. Theo is an American male citizen from Florida. Zodwa subsequently gave birth to a baby girl, Lihle, on 1 October 2019. In May 2021, Ntombi and Brad returned to South Africa. Unfortunately, Zodwa also returned with her parents due to the deterioration in her marital relations with Theo, and Zodwa filed for divorce in Makhanda on 30 July 2021. Theo insists that the divorce should be determined based on the laws of Florida.
