Object Modelling Case 3: Create a sequence diagram based for Belle's Grocer Automated Checkout System. Belle's Grocer is developing its own automated checkout counter. When customers come up to the counter, they will first scan their membership code if they have one or skip this step if they don't. If they have their membership, the screen will show their membership details such as name, membership ID and membership expiry date based on their members database. Customers will then scan their own items, where item info and price will be pulled from the database. The system then calculates total grocery amount and factor in membership discount to generate the end total. Customers check the items and total before checking out. Customer can choose payment of cash or card. Card payment will require customer digital signature.
