What to Do:

Researcha business (small or large, current or bankrupt) which has had an ethical problem relatively recently (you may not use Enron or Nike, we've discussed those).

Reporton the ethical issues. General format: Introduce company (briefly), introduce unethical actions, discuss issues/problems, discuss who their actions affected (stakeholders), discuss the result (what happened after the unethical action) and what the company did to fix the problem. Also include your opinion (brief opinion); what you think the company did well (or poorly) and what else you think the company could have done (or done better.)

Uploadyour notes/presentations to the UCLASS assignment ("BE P1") BEFORE class (9am) on April 4th (4/4)!Your notes don't have to be a finished document (i.e., spell and grammar checked, neat, orderly, etc.) but I should be able to read them.

Give your presentation (speech) in-class on April 4th.

Specifications:

  • Presentation should be about 2 minutes 30 seconds (don't go over 3 minutes or under 2 minutes.)
  • You may use presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint) or give it in speech format.
  • Include sources (references, citations).
