OBJECTIVE

You have been hired as a consultant to a lawyer who has been approached by an aviation client looking to start their own airline in Canada. The lawyer has tasked you with the following project.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using the Transport Canada website as reference, locate the application process required for a "air taxi" operation.

For the purpose of this assignment, refer the client to the correct set of rules and regulation pertaining to this type of Commercial operation.

Once the correct type of regulations have been identified, using internet sources from Transport Canada and the Canadian Transportation Agency, identify the steps required for one to get licensed as a commercial carrier.

Be sure to identify all relevant application forms, the required documents to be submitted, the criteria of acceptance the personal required, their relevant experiences profiles etc.

For the purposes of this assignment, the proposed carrier will be operating in North America, be based in Canada and conduct domestic and international flights to the USA only.

The client wishes to be based out of Region of Waterloo International Airport $($YKF$)$ as their home base. Assist the client with ensuring all relevant information from the airport has been provided for the application process.
