Occupational health and safety in Ontario is based on two basic factors. One is that it is a Tripartite system. The other is the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) Explain the tripartite system, and why such a system is believed to be necessary. Provide an explanation of the parties who participate in the IRS, the legal obligations and the rights that it imposes on, or provides for each party/participant.
