Odell Beckham, Jr. is an NFL wide receiver. He is currently a free agent considering and being considered by the Bills, the Giants and the Cowboys to sign with one of those prestigious teams. On November 27, 2022, news outlets across all spectra reported on an occurrence at Miami International Airport. According to news reports, Odell Beckham, Jr., a passenger flying in first class on an American Airlines flight from Miami to Los Angles, was removed from the airplane and escorted from the airport by Miami Police after refusing to fasten his seat belt when instructed by the crew to do so. The flight crew reported that Beckham appeared to be going in and out of consciousness when this request was made. The plane returned to the gate and police and EMS were reportedly called. All passengers were required to leave the plane and Beckham was escorted from the plane by several police officers, during which time Beckham appeared calm and alert. Beckhams attorney issued a statement saying that the flight was delayed and that Beckham fell asleep with his blanket over his head, which is his normal practice for long flights. He also claimed that Beckham agreed to fasten his seat belt but was told it was too late.
