Outline what you intend to do$,$ why you believe it needs to be done and what the results will mean in theory and in practise. Provide abstract in the next page after cover page. Your report must comply with ALL report$-$writing requirements as you were taught in your first$-$year communication course. $3.$ INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND $($Maximum $3$ pages$)$ Introduction and Background of the study Statement of problem to be investigated Aims and Objectives Significance of the study limitations and assumptions of the research or project $($if any$).$ Conclusion $3.$ LITERATURE REVIEW $($Plus or minus $5$ pages$)$ Concise, up to date & orderly review of state of knowledge that has relevance to the problem being investigated. The idea is to demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of the subject area and to critically analyse and review it$.$ Simple narration and copying and pasting is not good enough $($Penalty and possible zero mark allocation$).$ Use articles, reports and textbooks. Use of journal papers is expected. Provide reference list at the end of the proposal and during your research material.
