Oil Bits Inc. manufactures custom drill bits for use in off-shore oil rigs. Sales takes the lead on new orders, and responds when a sales inquiry is received. To begin, sales will gather requirements based on the sales inquiry and document them in a specification. Sales will then search the manufacturing database to see if a drill bit has been built to these specifications previously. If yes, sales will then create a sales order and send it to the customer for feedback. If approved by the customer, sales will then forward the sales order to Project Engineering for manufacturing. If no drill bit has been built to those specifications previously, project engineering must first prepare a new cost estimate based on the specifications and forward it back to sales who then creates the sales order (which is then forwarded to the customer for approval, etc. as stated previously). If the sales order is not approved by the customer the process ends.
When Project Engineering receives a sales order, it will first create manufacturing instructions using the specifications and save them to the manufacturing database. It will then simultaneously prepare the iron ore and cast the rotor teeth for the bit. It will then pour the drill bit base using the iron ore. Once completed, the drill bit base and rotor teeth are forwarded to Technical Services who will assemble the drill bit based using the instructions stored in the manufacturing database and test it. Then, simultaneously, the drill bit is shipped to the customer for acceptance testing and they are notified of the shipment.Identify a total of three (3) sub-process candidates for this process, one for each actor within the resource pool Oil Bit Inc. Model a top-level process that includes these sub-processes. Then for each sub-process prepare a separate BPMN diagram. Use a pool / lane(s) when appropriate. Thus, you will prepare a total of four (4) BPMN diagrams for this assignment. Use the following naming conventions and upload them into eLC.

For all your diagrams model the specifications as a data object and the manufacturing database as a database. Model Oil bits Inc. as a pool with lanes and the customer as a collapsed pool. Show pools in your sub-processes. Make sure you show the flow of data in and out of both the data object (the specifications) and the database correctly throughout the diagram where indicated in the narrative. Show all messages between the pools described above and label them.
Really having trouble showing the flow of these models. Thank you for your help.
